An up and coming actor has mightily impressed Madhavan and has even made the ‘chocolate boy’ of Tamil cinema to write about him on a microblogging website. He is Rana Daggubati from Tollywood.
The grandson of movie Moghul D Rama Naidu made his acting debut with Shekhar Kammula’s political drama ‘Leader’ recently. Madhavan, who watched the film, is showering praises on Rana since then.
“Saw ‘Leader’, the Telugu film…. Liked it a lot. Shekhar Kammula is a fine filmmaker. And I thought you (Rana) did a fantastic job in the film too…. Really really liked your work and look,” tweeted Maddy.
Reacting to this, Rana Daggubati said, “Thanks Madhavan. Am glad you liked it. Will tell Shekhar as well.” Madhavan, as many of us know, is an active netizen and is expressing his thoughts on his microblogging page on a regular basis.
It's all happening for Kamal Haasan. Many directors tried to persuade Uma Krishnan, the beautiful mother of Trisha Krishnan to act in films but the lady politely turned away all the offers saying daughter's career first.
Even the biggie PL Thenappan asked her once and she refused. Director Radha Mohan tried for the mother role in 'Abhiyum Naanum'. But now Uma Krishnan could not say no to Kamal Haasan. Reliable sources say Uma Krishnan has agreed to do a cameo in Kamal's 'Manmathan Ambu' which largely filmed in a luxury cruise.
The team is already in Europe for the first schedule. ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ stars Kamal Haasan, Madhavan, Trisha and Sangeetha in main roles.
Silambarasan has committed two films simultaneously after ‘VTV’. One is the film in which he pairs opposite Sarath Kumar's daughter Varalaxmi. The other one is the film of Lingusamy.
Lingusamy film is a bi-lingual in Tamil and Telugu. Buzz is that Tamanna has been asked to give 25 days successively for the film by Lingusamy. Tamanna plays a law college student and she has also been asked to lose some weight and get fit for the role. Lingusamy's associates say Simbu-Tamanna pair will be as much talked about as Simbu-Trisha jodi in ‘VTV’.
Tamannah also has an author backed role which has more emotions than dialogues they say. She will have just two pages of words to be spoken in the entire films and you will see a new Tamanna they add.
For the important role of Tamanna's brother in the film Lingusamy tried Madhavan and is still waiting for his answer. While waiting for Madhavan, Lingusamy also has a stand by in Ajmal, just in case.
It will be a dream come true for fans of Ajith, Vijay and Vikram if they come together for a movie like 3 Idiots. The teaming up of these top heros was a suggestion by Madhavan when quizzed who he would like to see in the Tamil remake of his hit Hindi movie 3 Idiots.
Maddy was replying to a question about the speculation of the hero’s that will star in the Tamil remake ever since Gemini Film Circuit bought the Telugu and Tamil remake rights of 3 Idiots from Vidhu Vinod Chopra. He also added that he would not like to act in the Tamil version too because he has already given his 100% to the Hindi Version and will not be able to do justice to the Tamil 3 Idiots.
However he is returning to Tamil with his movie with Kamal Hassan titled Karunyam which will be directed by KS Ravikumar.
