Vijay joining the Nanban team!
The Nanban team, including Vijay, Jiiva, Srikanth, Sathyaraj, director Shankar, is now in Dehradun to shoot a major portion of the film there. The director had initially planned to start the shooting of Nanban in Dehradun but changed the location to Ooty where he shot the first schedule.
With Vijay joining the Nanban team, the entire unit had left for Dehradun recently. On the sets yesterday, Srikanth, who plays an important role in the film, celebrated his birthday. Vijay, Jiiva, Shankar and others made the occasion special by arranging a small party for the actor.

Shankar successfully started '3 Idiots' shooting !
Director Shankar for the the first time would have faced so much hurdles for starting a film's shoot. Earlier Shankar was put into such situation when the initial producers of Endhiran, Ayangaran International walked off from the film.
Now after surviving all the odds, Shankar had successfully started the shooting of '3 Idiots' with Jeeva and Srikanth. It is said that Surya will join the crew at the end of February and before that Shankar will be finishing Srikanth and Jeeva's combined portions. However the title confusions are still on and the official announcement will be given soon.
The expected titles are '3 Rascals' and 'Moovar'. Since Surya has been signed instead of Vijay, the star value of the movie is remaining at the same height. Harris Jayaraj will be scoring music and Manoj Paramahamsa will be handling the camera for 3 Idiots Tamil and Telugu remakes.
Vijay, Jiiva and Srikanth in ‘3 Idiots’
The 3 Idiots remake is sure to begin in December and the three main leads – Vijay, Jiiva and Srikanth have been booked already. But the scenario for the Telugu remake is not that promising as only Mahesh Babu has been finalized till date. He will play the role Vijay does in Tamil.
The buzz we hear now is that director Shankar is contemplating with the idea of casting Jiiva and Srikanth in the Telugu version too.
The entire team, including Sathyaraj, Ileana, Vijay, Jiiva and Srikanth will leave for Delhi in December to participate in the shooting. An ideal location in Dehradun has been identified for shooting this film.

Special birthday celebration for Srikanth and son
Srikanth who continues to be busy in one job or the other is readying for a high profile birthday bash for himself and his son. After debuting in ‘Roja Kootam’ in 2002, Srikanth is always busy either in films or social circles. He married his long time girl friend Vandana after great effort. The couple was blessed with a baby boy last February 28.
The day became more special for Srikanth’s family as Srikanth’s birthday also falls on the same date. So to celebrate the birthdays this year Srikanth is organizing the biggest party he ever arranged for his friends and well wishers.
