Jack LaLanne sadly passed away at the age of 96

Synonymous with physical fitness, Jack LaLanne unfortunately died at the age of 96 on his Morro Bay, California home on Sunday, 23 January 2011.The prolonged "The Jack LaLanne Show" TV host was apparently comforted by their loved ones, as he succumbed to respiratory failure because of pneumonia.Talking Reuters daughter Yvonne LaLanne said: "He was surrounded by his family and went very peacefully and in no distress ... and with the football game on Sunday, so everything was normal."
